The 395's have been invited by Sail Newport to participate in the Jimmy Fund Regatta on June 4
- 5. The regatta is going to be a key event on the racing scene with the tremendous line-up of
classes and the energy brought by the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Race Management is by
Sail Newport and we will headquarter shore activities at the Newport Shipyard. 
 
This could be a great tune-up for BI Race Week. 
 
There is a fabulous party planned at the Newport Shipyard for Saturday night. 
 
Other classes that are invited include: PER, the first IRC Racing Division in RI, TP 52,
J/120, J/105, J/109, J/30, J/80, J/24, Swan 45, Beneteau 40.7, Beneteau 36.7, Alerion 28 and
maybe Etchells.
 
Please let me know if you are interested in participating. If we have enough boats for a class I will
be happy to coordinate.
