Rulings of the F395 Committee for relief drivers shall be valid for two calendar years, provided that there is no material change in the activity, circumstances, or achievement from that submitted in the original application during that period. Approved owner drivers need not reapply provided there are no material changes from the original application. Substitute or Chartering helmsman shall be eligible to drive only for the event approved by the F395 Committee or for a longer period of time if designated by the F395 Committee.

If you are applying as a relief, substitute or chartering helmsman you must include the name of owner plus the boat name and hull number if you know it. Substitute and chartering helmsmen must also include the name of the event and dates for which they wish to be considered. Please return your completed application and a copy of your ISAF Classification Determination to:

Where applicable, note the competition dates (i.e., the 1992 Olympic Games), crew position (i.e., helmsman), results achieved (i.e., Gold Medal), type of boat and any other information which may be useful for the committee to consider in evaluating your request.
